Remarkably, the biogas scheme is exclusively available to those who supply milk to Amul, a nod to the integral role of dairy farming in the region. Subsidies for the implementation of biogas plants have been made possible through a collaborative effort between the government and Amul, the renowned dairy cooperative. This collaboration not only underscores the importance of sustainable agricultural practices but also highlights the power of public-private partnerships in bringing cleaner energy solutions to rural areas. The initiative signifies a promising step towards reduced environmental impact, improved energy efficiency, and enhanced livelihoods for the residents of Badalpur. It also embodies the synergy between the agricultural sector, government support, and corporate engagement in fostering a greener and more sustainable future for the community.
