| dc.description.abstract | The seeds of Vrutti were sown way back in 2002 by two graduates of Institute of Rural Management, Anand. Their commitment was to find a solution to poverty, marginalisation of different working classes and social upliftment through wealth generation and giving a boost to small producers. With a passion for social entrepreneurship the duo went on to find long-term complete solutions which had more than a local impact. Vision: Enhancing people’s wellbeing through knowledge, innovations and transformative actions. Mission: Building the wealth and resilience of small producers and vulnerable communities through transformative livelihoods solutions Vrutti recognised that solutions to societal problems are largely isolated and do not converge towards a unifying solution. They have thus set out to integrate to facilitate solutions. Their journey has taken them from being a ‘livelihood resource centre’ to a ‘livelihood impact partner’ . They have played a significant role in increasing small producers’ profitabilities by 300% on an average. | |
